When is horror movie Maligant coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

Malignant is the latest horror movie out in theaters. Don’t want to head there just yet? When can you own Malignant on DVD and Blu-ray?

There are a few reasons not to want to head to theaters right now. The spread of the Delta variant is the biggest reason at the moment, so you’re looking for ways to watch at home.

Of course, HBO Max is an option. All Warner Bros. movies are heading to the streaming platform for 30 days from the theatrical release. After that, it will leave for a while and then head back there.

What about the DVD and Blu-ray release, though? What about the Digital release on Amazon Video? Here’s everything you need to know.

Malignant DVD release date predictions

With the movie only just out in theaters, Warner Bros. hasn’t announced when the movie will come to DVD and Blu-ray. We have to look at other 2021 releases to make a prediction for the release. We’ll be sure to update as soon as there is a release date.

To get an idea of the Malignant DVD release date, we’ll look at Judas and the Black Messiah and The Little Things. They took about three months to get the DVD treatment and it was between two and three months for the movies to head to Digital.

With that in mind, we expect Malignant to head to DVD and Blu-ray around December 2021. The middle of the month makes sense, and it would offer everyone time to get the movie as a Christmas gift.

As for Digital, we’re looking at the middle of November to the middle of December. It’s not clear what type of release plan Warner Bros. is working with for this movie.

Reviews for the movie are mixed right now, although do lean more on the positive side. It has a critical score of 70% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Malignant is currently out in theaters.
