Sunday 19 December, at the Genoa Pra ‘Respect Band, the Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics. The historical re-enactment will involve the crews of the four cities, Genoa, Amalfi, Pisa and Venice in a rowing challenge aboard the galleons rebuilt on 12th century models. The regatta will be preceded by the Historical Parade with period costumes, which will parade through the streets of the center of Genoa, on Saturday 18 December 2021.

The “Escher” exhibition will be set up at the Doge’s Palace until February 20 the largest and most complete anthological exhibition dedicated to the great Dutch genius Maurits Cornelis Escher, today one of the most loved artists globally and whose impossible worlds have entered the collective imagination making him a true icon of the world of modern art.
