Inhaler and Ed Sheeran top UK sales charts

ALBUMS

The rock band Inhaler tops UK album sales chart with album ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This‘, which becomes the first No. 1 by an Irish band in the past 13 years since their debut album. The Script in 2008.

Inhaler’s debut album starts with 18,000 equivalent units, 92% of them coming from physical sales, being the best-selling vinyl album of the week and the best vinyl debut released by a band so far this century. .

The top 10 also includes the entry of the new album by Tom Odell (‘monsters‘) at number 1, being his fourth top 10 in the UK, and the reissue of the first album by Muse (‘Origin of Symmetry‘) at # 6 after the launch of its 20th anniversary edition.
