Carlos Santana gets the 1000th ticket of his career in the Major Leagues

The Dominican Carlos Santana got his 1000 ticket in the Major Leagues in a defeat of his team, Santana’s achievement was in the seventh inning when he received a passport from his compatriot Rafael Dolis.

Unfortunately this walk did not prevent the Royals from being defeated by the Toronto Blue Jays 5 × 1 in a 7 inning game.

It was in the first challenge of a doubleheader that these teams have scheduled on Saturday, April 17.

“God gave me the ability to hit 1,000 walks,” the Dominican commented at a post-match press conference.

He becomes the 121st player to reach that figure and is also the fifth Dominican to collect at least a thousand tickets in the Big Top.

Carlos Santana is going through an offensive slump

Despite the individual achievement of his 1000 major league ticket, Carlos Santana’s season from an offensive point of view is going through a crisis.

He’s just hitting a .146 average product of 6 hits in 41 at-bats with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs.

The Royals fourth batter said he is not desperate for his low batting production, although he is aware that he must improve in everything since his team needs him.

Hopefully the switch hitter comes out of the slump soon so he can contribute to the team’s victories in the batter’s box.
